My name is Jansin Cai, and I am from the People’s Republic of China.  I came to Canada for Studying, and I have been in Canada for 6 months as a high school student at Magee Secondary.  For this image, I used mixed-media: paper, paint, various papers, tape, transfers and markers to create it.  This is an image about where I came from, and I used a lot of red and a lot of warm colors to make it brilliant, because in my culture, red is a festival color. I hope it can make you feel warm at this moment as well.
